South and Twining each have a document camera that can be checked out through the media center. The AverMedia camera allows teachers to display notes and math problems, maps, magazines, or newspaper articles. In addition to showing notes and written materials, you can display three-dimensional objects as well. Science classes can see the teacher dissecting a frog, or show the difference between a beetle or a butterfly. The AverMedia’s 3.2-megapixel camera can capture a single picture or up to 80 continuous pictures. The pictures captured on the document camera can be downloaded onto the computer.
